Breathe in the Tropics
A Private Paradise in Bloom
A Garden to Live In — Where Nature Leads the Way.
Hacienda Eterna Primavera rests on five lush acres in Puerto Rico’s western mountains. One acre is home to the retreat itself — a thoughtfully maintained tropical garden in Puerto Rico, where guests can stroll, rest, and reconnect. The remaining four acres? Untouched, wild, and teeming with life — a sanctuary of towering palms, hidden tropical flowers, and hillside jungle you can admire from hammocks and balconies.
This isn’t a manicured showcase — it’s a living, breathing space. Birds greet the morning, warm breezes drift through banana leaves, and every path reveals something new. Here, we let nature set the rhythm, blending gentle care with wild beauty.
A View That Stays With You
From every corner of the retreat, the land opens outward. Wide balconies overlook the wild acreage below, with panoramic views of Puerto Rico’s western mountains beyond. Whether you’re sipping coffee at sunrise or swaying in a hammock at dusk, the horizon is always part of the experience — ever-changing, always calming.

Ginger, Heliconia & Tropical Flowers
Some of the most striking beauty at Hacienda Eterna Primavera has been here longer than we have. The ginger and heliconia plants are part of the original hacienda landscape — quietly growing beneath layers of time, leaves, and shade. When we arrived, many were hidden under overgrowth. With care and patience, we brought them back to life.
Today, they line the paths near the master suite and open garden spaces, thriving once again in the dappled light. We’ve uncovered many varieties — red, pink, white, and spiral gingers, alongside bold heliconias that look like nature’s sculptures. Some release a delicate scent just before sundown, adding a subtle moment of surprise to your evening walk.
These tropical flowers are more than decoration — they’re part of the story. Living links to the land’s past, now blooming again for you to enjoy.

The Banana Grove
The banana grove sits within the wild hillside of our property, home to over 80 trees of all sizes — from towering old trunks to tender new shoots. When the rains come, a small river gently winds through the grove, bringing life to everything it touches.
If we’re around during your stay, we’re happy to guide you through it — a quiet walk beneath the leaves, with a glimpse into the rhythm of the land. Many of our bananas end up in our homemade banana bread, made right here at the hacienda.
Unlike most fruits, bananas are harvested by cutting down the entire tree once the fruit is ready. It’s part of a natural cycle — each stalk produces fruit just once, then gives way to the next generation growing at its base.

Tropical Fruit at Your Doorstep
One of the quiet joys of staying at Hacienda Eterna Primavera is discovering fruit growing just steps from your suite. Mangoes, starfruit, breadfruit, bananas, coconuts, and pineapples thrive across the land—ripening with the rhythm of the season. Some are ready to enjoy right off the tree, others find their way into our banana bread or morning breakfast. You’re welcome to explore, pick what’s in season, and taste the sweetness of the land.

Wander. Discover. Feel.
Slow down, look around—there’s fruit in the trees, flowers in bloom, and hidden corners that feel like your own secret garden. Some spaces are shaped, others left to grow freely. All of it is here for you to explore.
